adidas World Campus opened!

18 September 2019

The first phase of LOLA’s landscape design at adidas World Campus has officially opened! We celebrated the opening of the first phase of our landscape design together with the opening of the new headquarters and adidas’ 70th anniversary in Herzochenaurach.

When entering adidas’ “World of Sports”, the yellow and red crossroads are the biggest eye-catchers. These twelve meter brightly colored “stars” are the most important ingredient of our design. Together they connect the buildings and form the intersection of where adidas employees meet and many activities take place. Different type of programs are placed on and around the stars and refer to the diversity of sports adidas is known for. Including a multifield for football, rugby and hockey games, a skate ramp and trampolines.

The party was celebrated in the presence of celebrities such as Pharell Williams and adidas athletes such as Philipp Lahm and Olympic champion biathlon Laura Dahlmeier. Run DMC ended the evening spectacularly with his hit “My adidas” from 1986.
