14 April 2021

With the recent approval of the Almeerderhout Development Plan, the Almere city council has taken an important step towards the realization of the urban forest of the future. Together with Staatsbosbeheer, the city of Almere and a group of stakeholders and experts, LOLA developed this plan to make the largest urban forest of the Netherlands biodiverse, attractive and future proof. This means that in the upcoming years it will undergo a major metamorphosis.
