Pro Landscaper nomination and last days of LUGA 2025

4 October 2025

The first projects shortlisted for the Pro Landscaper International Awards 2025 has been announced, with ‘Water Forum Luxembourg’ nominated in the ‘City Landscape Project’ category.

Created for LUGA 2025, Luxembourg’s national garden and landscape exhibition, the project was designed by LOLA in collaboration with 2001 and University of Luxembourg. ‘Water Forum Luxembourg’ highlights the ecological challenges facing the Alzette River. Once a lively gathering space outside the city walls, the river has been canalized and is now heavily affected by urban, industrial, and agricultural pollution. At times, almost all of its flow comes from depollution stations, revealing its fragile condition. The installation reimagines the green belt as a collaborative strategy linking urban life and ecology.

LUGA 2025 is open to 18 October 2025, so this is the last chance to visit our garden and all the other gardens and installations in Luxembourg City. The presentations and award ceremony of the Pro Landscaper International Awards 2025, take place on the 7th and 8th of October at the Future Scape Event in Excel London.
