New associates LOLA Landscape Architects

LOLA Landscape Architects is pleased to announce the appointment of Brigitta van Weeren and Artur Borejszo as new associates. By joining the partners, a big leap has been made towards making the organization more future-proof. The new associates bring additional experience and expertise to the organization.

Brigitta van Weeren
Landscape architect Brigitta van Weeren has worked at LOLA since 2013, where she is responsible for many landscape design projects, such as Feyenoord City, various projects in Limburg, the public space of Merwede Utrecht and exhibitions in Kunsthal Kade and SCHUNK.

Artur Borejszo
Since 2018 Artur Borejszo is project leader at LOLA, where he is responsible for numerous international projects and tenders, the masterplan Bajeskwartier and recently for Park Evoluon Eindhoven. Within the office Artur is also in charge of 3D design and rendering.

LOLA Landscape Architects
LOLA was founded in 2006 by Peter Veenstra, Cees van der Veeken and Eric-Jan Pleijster. The office works on leading projects in the city center, on the city edge, and in the countryside. LOLA projects have been built and/or published around the world. The office has branches in Rotterdam and Shenzhen and is working on projects on various continents and consists of a team of 40 passionate employees.

Brigitta van Weeren
Associate & Senior landscape architect

Brigitta van Weeren is a landscape architect and works at LOLA Landscape Architects in Rotterdam on design projects, visions and exhibitions. Among other things, she worked on the Feyenoord City master plan, the design and realization of the archaeology garden in Etzenrade in South Limburg, the winning competition for the adidas World Campus in Germany and the guideline public space for the inner city of Groningen. Brigitta received her master’s degree in landscape architecture from the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam, where she is currently also a guest lecturer. She uses her background in art combined with her experience in landscape architecture to create powerful designs.

Artur Borejszo
Associate & Senior landscape architect, Head of 3D and visualization

Artur Borejszo received a master’s degree and architectural engineering with a distinction from the technical university of Lodz, Poland. Since 2009 he is a licensed architect in Netherlands. He is a guest lecturer and tutor at TU Delft and Rotterdamse Akademie van Bouwkunst. Since May 2018 he is a senior designer – project leader / head of 3d design and visualization at LOLA Landscape Architects. Among many, he leads VO and DO stage design for Bajeskwartier in Amsterdam and PD stage strategy for resilient landscape for Al Maktoum international airport in Dubai. Next to it he coordinated LOLA’s BIM workflow with OMA for Feyenoord City. He is a senior designer for Forest Sport Park in Shenzen, China, Gasklockan project in Stockholm, Design Indaba in Cape Town.
